It’s not a surprise that there was an apple floating in the donkey and sheep’s water this morning. Our apple tree is already dropping tons of apples this year.
I did have a flash of the donkeys and sheep bobbing for apples, before I saw the bug.
First I thought the apple as a life raft or desert island. But when I saw the bug (not sure what it is) had wings, it seemed more like the apple became a float for sunbathing on. (Now I’m thinking of Abrah Griggs’ cartoons)
The bug hopped off the apple as I plucked it out of the water and fed it to Fanny.
What a fabulous picture! You can make up all kinds of stories for it. I thought of a Noah’s Ark for bugs.
