Shorn Sheep

I only had six of the sheep shorn at the Bedlam Farm Open House.  The wool on the other four wasn’t long enough to make into yarn.

That’s Rosemary and Liam up front. I’ll add their wool to Kim’s and dye it a color (not sure which yet) and get it back sometime next spring.  I’ll also have wool from Izzy, Suzy and Pumpkin.

When our shearer Liz, shaved off Pumpkin’s wool, she said “that’s a keeper”.  Liz has had sheep since she was a kid and learned to  shear when she was 8 years old.

Soon I’ll get back the yarn from last June’s shearing and I’ll be selling it in my Etsy Shop.
