A Heart and Sun Burst, Things I Saw This Morning

The morning’s frost accentuated the heart shape of this puffball in the pasture.

The mold was like a sun bursting out of the old pita bread.  I had no idea how far gone it was, or beautiful,  till I took the bread out of the bag to feed the donkeys.  I took a picture and fed the surrounding Pita to Fanny.
