Bud has something special going. I’ve never seen Red and now Fate cuddling up with another dog. Fate usually won’t be in the same crate with Bud and this afternoon, there they were, sleeping, cuddled up next to each other.
I think Bud must have done this when he lived in Arkansas. He lived outside in a pen with a pug for the first year or so of his life. That might make him more of a dog’s dog than a people dog.
Although he’s gotten used to people pretty quickly.
Maybe he and the pug snuggled up together to keep warm or for safety or just for comfort.
Whatever it is, Bud is used to sleeping like a dog in a pack and he’s teaching Red and Fate to do the same.
