Pinterest, My New Gallery and A Link To Instagram

If you scroll down to the bottom of my blog you’ll see five little square logos.  Each one of them I drew with my sewing machine.

There’s my Etsy Shop, Youtube, Facebook, Pinterest and new today, Instagram.

My new blog doesn’t have a gallery page, but it does have a link to Pinterest, which I’m thinking of  as my new gallery.

It’s even better than my old gallery.

For one thing, it’s up to date, something my old gallery hadn’t been for a long time. Also, it has my work broken down into categories, or boards as they’re known on Pinterest.  So there’s a board for my quilts and fabric paintings and potholders.  But there’s also boards for photo’s of the animals and art I like and of course, my new Vulva Board.

In the past I haven’t been very good at keeping up with my Pinterest boards.  But now, since it’s my only gallery, I’m dedicated to updating it regularly.  So come take a look from time to time and see what’s new.

I’ve never had a link on my blog to  Instagram before. So the only way you could see the pictures and videos I posted there was if you’re on Instagram and “follow” me.

I’ve tried to post all the photos on Instagram on my blog also, but it doesn’t always happen.  Especially with the short videos that I just pop up there from time to time.

Now, by clicking on the Instagram logo (see photo above) you can see over 1500 of the photos and videos I’ve posted there over the past couple of years.  So come have a look. And if you’re already on Instagram you can “follow” me too.

On Friday, I’m going to be meeting with Chris from Mannix Marketing.  They’re responsible for creating  my new blog.  There are a few other things that I’ll be learning about my blog and I’ll let you know what they are when I do.

It seems I’m getting more comments on the new blog, I’m wondering if it’s easier to read and navigate.  I hope so.

  1. Maria, this blog is much easier to read, and to make a comment on. I love the new format! It’s bright and SO attractive and accessible. I am in love with the header!
