Gerrie told me she bought my potholder because it went perfectly in her newly painted kitchen. I can see what she means in the photo she sent to me of the potholder in her kitchen. It’s as if I made it just for her.

Gerrie’s potholder is beautiful, Maria, but then so are all the others. They are each a little work of art. The two I have will never be used in the kitchen. I keep them where I can enjoy them and keep them pristine. You should have labels for your work, particularly the quilts that you put so much work into. They are originals, so you should have “A Maria Wulf original” labels?

I’m honored that you keep my potholders as art, even though they are very willing to be put to work. 🙂 I do sign, date and title each of my quilts and wall hangings, but not the potholders. I make so many of them, it seems a chore! But it’s a nice idea…..
