I take baths in the winter mostly because it warms my whole body ups and keeps it warm, in a way that nothing else does.
Tonight the water was just the right temperature. Not so hot I couldn’t stay in too long, but hot enough so it didn’t cool down before I got to read the whole Amos Oz short story in The New Yorker.
And when I finished and lay in the tub looking at the faucet, I knew it would make the perfect Instax photo. That view of the faucets and drain is one that so many people are familiar with. I especially love how our faucets, when turned off, go in different directions. I think it gives the photo a feeling of something being slightly off.
