Someone sent me this celestial fabric so long ago, I feel like I’ve always had it. I’ve used it in lots of different pieces of art, but never in potholders.
The fabric makes me think of the book Galileo’s Daughter by Dava Sobel. I read that such a long time ago too, but there are parts of the book that stay with me. Especially how his daughter, Maria Celeste, was too brilliant to be a cloistered nun.
You’ll find the sun, moon and compass rose on my Celestial Potholders. They’re $17 each with a flat rate shipping of $5 no matter how many you buy.
