Red is so much Jon’s dog.
Sometimes in the morning, if Jon comes out to the barnyard after me, Red will reluctantly do what I ask him to, keeping the sheep back while I bring them hay, but he always has an ear out for Jon.

Another amazing photograph. You can see Red’s soul, it seems. I can’t remember Red in any of the books, though. Has Mr. Jon written Red, the Book? This would be a great book cover!
