The speck of green, a water plant or leaf of moss, was probably only a sixteenth of an inch round, but it was caught in a small eddy along the bank of the stream. I watched it circle round and round, hypnotized, took this video and watched it until it exited the eddy and got caught on a tiny root, still at last.

It’s fascinating. It made me think of Fate running around the sheep, stopping for a second then going around again. It just looks playful to me. You notice the most interesting things!
