Robin At The Battenkill

Robin with a stick and a handful of rocks

She could do this for hours, Emma told me, as Robin picked up rocks and threw them in the water.

Robin was as happy to play with a stick and rocks she found in the Battenkill as she was with the toys Jon bought for her from Battenkill Books this afternoon.

We stood around, our feet in the water talking and watching the other people on the river.  I didn’t plan on swimming but couldn’t resist the water and dived in with my dress on.

Not a bad way to spend time.  We might just go back tomorrow morning.
