Fate was sleeping outside, so Bud got to pose with my new Summer Potholders. I think he did a pretty good job and was happy to get a biscuit afterward.

Yes, you’re right, those central animals, that you so nicely put into their plain color frames, within that group of potholders, were all together on one of the pieces of fabric I sent you. Also seeing more bits I recognize of some the mini offcut pieces I sent, and more of the ‘already assembled’ multicolored tightly striped blocks being put to good use, just like I knew you’d be able to do with them.
I think my fave is the sheep one, because I love sheep, and purple – and it wasn’t until the second look, that I saw they are surrounded by roosters! The floral potholders made me think of your Monday video this week, and the lovely flowerbed by the porch.
May the constant cycle of reusing other peoples leftovers, mixed with those you create with every new project, keep accumulating in your scrap basket – some wonderful things are created from there!
I thought it was you Hannah. And the rooster fabric was given to me by Susie, (I believe!) It’s interesting your seeing my gardens in the potholders. I’m sure that they are an influence, even if not consciously.
