Some are made with pieces from an old quilt top, others with scraps from my scrap bin. My potholders sustain me. Not only in that I sell so many of them and they are a dependable source of income, but in creating them.
They are small expressions of what is going on inside of me and around me. They are small and dependable pieces of functional art that work, not only for me but for the people who buy and use them.
I love sending them out into the world, knowing they are ready to work.
