I wrote about looking out my studio window and seeing the birds at the feeder and being inspired to makes these Winter Bird Potholders.
At the time I didn’t know if the birds on the fabric were winter birds, but then Chirs, from the UK, wrote to let me know that one of the birds is a Europen Robin and the other a Blue Tit, both winter birds. She said that the Robin is a “defining image of Christmas and the dark season in the UK”.
So it turns out I chose well in making these potholders this time of year.
I already sold six Winter Bird Potholders but have six more for sale in my Etsy Shop.
These potholders are sold out, but I do have three more that I was working on tonight, when I found some more fabic. I’ll post them in my Etsy Shop tomorrow.
They’re $18 each and there’s free shipping on all my potholders (and lots of other art in my Etsy Shop) till December 20th. Just click here to buy them.
Your winter bird potholders are so sweet, so beautiful.. . . and the composition of pattern & color & feel is exquisite.
Thanks Veronica.:)
Do you have any fabric left with the American Robin? My name is Robin and I do love one with that motif! Thanks Maria!
Hi Robin, I’ll email you about it thanks for asking…
