I worked my monthly shift at the Cambridge Co-op today, but before I went in I made some more Gardner’s Potholders.
I know it’s the wrong time of year for gardening, but working with these colors and patterns brings me the feeling of the first days of spring when life seems soft and everything is just starting to warm up. It was like living in a dream for a while.
It’s never too early to think about the gardens:) Maria, your pot holders are a sweet reminder of warmer days, fresh soil, and sprouting flowers! Thank you for sweet reminders during the cold winter days, and retreating to the dreams of spring !
I think that’s probably why I made them Josie, it was like being in the garden for a little while.
This is the time to dream of the gardens to come! I am looking at seed catalogs now and determining what to plant. That is how a gardener spends winter. Perfect timing Maria!
I just saw the Fedco catalog at our Co-op, I’m going to be looking too.
