  1. Watching this piece bloom and come alive before my eyes is so much fun! You had me with your drawings! And as it unfolds with color it is simply exquisite! I don’t know if it is appropriate to yip at artwork that moves me! But I am sitting at my table yipping at this! I LOVE this! It will be an honor to own it!! Kathye (from Vermont)

    1. I can hear you Yip Kathye. And it is most appropriate and a very high compliment for me because it shows spontaneous feeling. Thank you so much!

  2. I love this, Maria! It really speaks of the healing power of trees and how important they are in our lives. I am kind of sad to hear that it is already spoken for because I would certainly like to own it. I guess I would have to be content with just a picture or a post card. All who know me know that I am a fierce advocate for trees! In this part of rural Arkansas the farmers and developers think nothing of bulldozing all the trees down and piling them in a ravine. Seeing those poor ravaged trees make me sick. But your fabric picture heals my heart. Everything about it is so perfect! Thank you for your art! It leaves me with a lump in my throat.

    1. Molly, Thank you so much. Your words mean a lot to me. I can imagine how you feel when you see the trees piled up. But I think it’s a good idea to make a post card of this piece. Thanks for mentioning It. I’ll be sure to do it now.
