Zinnia loves to walk on frozen ponds and lakes, but so far she doesn’t seem to know how to deal with water.
Last week, for the first time, she followed Fate through a stream that came up to her belly. And yesterday she repeatedly stuck her face in the water, each time pulling it out like she had no idea what happened.
Today I could see by the way she was pawing at the water that’s she getting the idea of swimming. I guess some instinct is kicking in that is making her curious. She doesn’t seem to be bothered by the cold, but still, the warmer weather may motivate her.
I love how cautious Zinnia is when learning something. I love watching her as she learns to swim.
I get the feeling Susie, that she doesn’t quite get what water is.
