I took a self-portrait similar to this one when the swamp was covered in a thin layer of ice. Today there’s a lot more green and the pattern that the ice made is, of course, not there. But the leaves look more like a collage, there’s more color I think.
Someone suggested it might be the inspiration for a new fabric painting. I keep looking at the oak leaf on Fates face…it has me thinking….
