The sheep are still pretty annoyed that we don’t let them in the side pastures to graze. But the grass is growing slowly and we want to give it a chance to get taller before letting the animals eat it. Otherwise, they may pull up the roots and damage the pasture.
So I’m still feeding them hay once a day and they get to graze in the back pasture where there is a lot to eat but not it’s not as tasty.
There’s a good chance we’ll get a frost tonight. Hopefully, it will warm up soon and the grass will begin to pop up.
Aw, Rosemary looks so sweet. She is still my favorite. She looks just like Lamb Chop in this great photo!
I can see that Fran.
It’s freezing here in southern Ontario and we could get some snow tonight and tomorrow! Yuck! My bird bath had a coating of thin ice on it yesterday morning, and probably again this morning.
It feels like winter again Fran. Hope you get some sunshine.
Great portrait of Rosemary. I love her Lucille Ball hairdo.
Right! That’s who she looks like!
