Sunshine Morning

Yesterday’s snow is gone and the sheep and donkeys are grazing again.  The snow didn’t seem to harm the budding apple tree or the perenials in my gardens.  It did give the grass and the saplings I planted a good soaking.

It felt good to see the sunshine this moring.

  1. Did you know if you cut the Apple tree branches at the top you will get more apples? Your tree is about twice the height it should be…..this is the time of year to trim it to encourage the flower growth.

    1. We love our apple tree the way it is Sally. We had it pruned to cut all the dead branches off last year. For us it’s more about the tree than the apples. We have lots of apple trees and a pear tree in the pasture and lots of apples.
