Round and round Fate ran. Again and again, she circled the sheep and donkeys. It was hot and finally, as her tongue grew long, I told her to lay down.
She did for a moment then made her way to the marsh looking for water to cool off in.
But the marsh was dry. I watcher her head pop and down in the tall grasses. When she finally came out, she was covered in mud, cooled off, and ready to run again.
