Which Donkey Is Fanny?

I could see the difference in Lulu’s face this afternoon, how she has lost the shaggy hair that all through the winter coverers much of the white around her eyes. As their hair thins, the donkey’s markings become more defined.

For those of you who have asked me how to tell the difference between Fanny and Lulu,(just in their physical appearance, not their personalities)  I think you can clearly see it in this photo.

  1. I love Fanny (that was my grandmother’s name) and Lulu. They always seem to be smiling.
They are a joy to watch. There is something so special about them. I never realized that donkeys were small. They are actually quite and they have a great way of making their desires known.
