A Gentle Place, Ready To Be Backed And Tacked

Bud took a break from obsessing on the chipmunk up the tree to spend some time in my studio.  He stood in front of my quilt that I just hung on the wall and stared at me like I was a chipmunk.

But he didn’t stay long, soon he was back outside doing what Boston Terriers do so well.

And I got to do what I love.  I pieced together the backing fabric for “A Gentle Place”.  It’s in the wash as I write this.

I don’t think I’ll get to work on my quilt anymore tonight.  After dinner, I’m “getting together” with Emily on Zoom for our weekly studio chat.

As usual, I’m sure to have some new creative insights and ideas after we talk.
