I got carried away watching this leaf gently shifting in the stream as skates rippled the surface of the water. You can’t see the skates, only the ripples they leave behind. There’s also a tiny white petal that floats up to the tip of the leaf that caught my attention. It’s my first sixty-second meditation.
Maria can you tell me what a three sisters garden is?
Yes, Marsha. It’s a Native American Garden that has corn, beans and squash in it. Each of the plants replenish the soil and aid the others in growing. They are also the combination of food that human can survive on. I was inspired to start a vegetable garden when I read about The Three Sister’s Garden in Robin Wall Kimmerer’s book, Braiding Sweetgrass.
