Fanny, Lulu and Rosemary had a sunflower snack this morning. We got the sunflowers at the Farmers Market and enjoyed looking at them for a week. Today the animals got to enjoy eating them.

This made me think of a book I am slowly reading – Nourishment by Fred Provenza. It’s published by a small press here in VT, Chelsea Green. It’s a fairly long book, but well written.
