Kitty plucked two cucumbers from the vine in her vegetable garden then pulled up a beet and gave them to me. Then she cut one of the pink lisianthuses, that were growing in a single row in front of the beets.
I peered inside the flower at a world within a world. I thought of the lucky insect that got to pollinate it.
At home, I ate the beet and shared the cucumbers with Jon. I put the Lisianthus on the altar in my studio.
I took this picture of it this morning. The glowing flower embraced by the deer jaw bone.
What a stunning combination, Maria!
