Jon’s Coming Home

Well, I can’t say I was alone in bed last night, but I still missed Jon.  And somehow, Bud takes up more room than any of us.

Do they both look a little sad or am I projecting?

I’ll be picking Jon up from the Hospital in an hour or so.  He told me he dreamed of a cheese sandwich on the whole wheat after an awful hospital dinner last night.  I have it packed and ready to go.

I’m looking forward to seeing Jon in his office writing this afternoon.  Then I’ll know for sure things are back to normal.

  1. Maria, not only do these pups look “very sad” (hmmmm), they are trying to contain their smugness at wangling their way up on top of the bed! 🙂 🙂

  2. Glad Jon’s surgery went well and know he’ll be glad to get home. Zinnia and Bud know something’s up since Jon’s not there. They’ll be glad to see him, too! Thanks for keeping us posted!!

  3. Before reading your update I looked at the picture Maria and thought the same thing; they look a little sad. It is amazing how little dogs can take up lots of space, our Beagle stretches way out on the bed and has to have covers to:)

  4. Hey Maria, glad to see your post. Love you guys. Yes, the dogs look a little sad to me too – that’s a fantastic picture of Bud and Zinnia. Was getting concerned since it’s now almost 3 PM on Tuesday, but feel better after seeing your post. Hang in there, Sister, love you.

  5. So glad Jons home! Your pups do look a little sad, maybe they’re missing Jon too. Glad all of you are doing good! Blessings to all of you!

  6. So happy for you both and the animals. Imagine all the blog readers out there giving you good vibes. That’s some powerful stuff and well deserved.

  7. Glad you took time to just be this afternoon and enjoy your time with Jon. You take care Maria! Wishing you both the best.

  8. Dear Maria, the dogs look sad to me!! But I may be projecting also. SO GLAD ALL IS WELL!! How wonderful and amazing that the surgeon had been comforted by Jon’s book, so knew who he was!! I have been comforted by the writing of both of you time and time again.
