In the mornings, the hens hop out of their coop and run to the back porch hoping to get some left-overs from the Minnie and Flo’s breakfast. After that, they peck their way around the farm.
This time of year there are plenty of apples to eat and still lots of insects and green things growing.
White Hen is still molting and not laying eggs, but Brown Hen gives us an egg every other day.
Fall is coming.
