The donkeys were probably hoping it would fall off and Maria would feed it to them. The geese on our farm clean up the ones that fall. Nothing goes to waste on the farm. I made pie filling and grape juice this weekend. It will taste good this winter.
Between the donkeys, sheep, chickens and insects and us humans, most the apples get eaten Marsha. It’s wonderful how you use everything that grows in your farm.
