” Chicks ” Ready To Go Home

Ever since I started paying attention to my quilts when I lay them on the bed in our guestroom to run a lint roller over them and fold them up for shipping, I’ve paid more attention when I make them to how they might look on a bed instead of hanging on a wall.

Not that all my quilts are even the right size for a bed, but still, it comes to mind when I’m designing them.

I thought my “Chicks” quilt looked just right on the bed.  The extra space on top for the bump of the pillows and the drape on the bottom.  And of course, the Dutch Woman landing just up from center.

Tomorrow I’ll get the right-sized box (I seem to have run low on boxes)then send the quilt off to her new home.
