Really clever! Love how you carried the orange lines through. I thought the first page looked like a heron, leaning down to catch a fish. Funny that the chicks quilt features birds, and a woman, and your water book also features birds and women, love the Anghina, reminds me of trips to Florida where I’ve seen them. Great collaboration with Emily, leading you to try new things.
I think you’re right Hannah, it is a heron going for the fish. There does seem to be a bird and woman theme. That makes me think of the first goddesses. They were often associated with water and waterbird images as symbols for life.
