Really clever! Love how you carried the orange lines through. I thought the first page looked like a heron, leaning down to catch a fish.
Funny that the chicks quilt features birds, and a woman, and your water book also features birds and women, love the Anghina, reminds me of trips to Florida where I’ve seen them.

I think you’re right Hannah, it is a heron going for the fish. There does seem to be a bird and woman theme. That makes me think of the first goddesses. They were often associated with water and waterbird images as symbols for life.
