Macro Lens Photos

I walked around the house looking for something to take a picture of with my macro lens.  I use the lens outside all the time, but I wanted to see the inside of the house through the lens too.

My favorite two photos were both taken in an old wooden crate we have on the mantle.  It used to hold soda bottles, now it’s on its side, the bottle dividers made into shelves.

On the bottom shelf is this Day of the Dead diorama that we got in New Mexico.  Somehow taking a picture of it with the macro lens seems to animate it even more.  Dust and all.

This little ceramic jug is about a quarter inch tall. It came off a pair of earrings from Mexico that a friend gave me.  It sits on the top shelf of the wooden crate.
