I spent the whole day in my studio but didn’t get any work done. I was trying to install a security program on my computer. It took hours and once it was done, I couldn’t shake the uneasy feeling that something was wrong.
So I called Apple Support and they recommended I remove it. By the time it was all done, my Bellydancing class was about to begin.
It was a good way to end the day. Dancing always makes me feel better even when I’m already feeling good.
But it was a strange day.
Love the pencil drawings! I’m new to your blog through Jon’s. Happy Birthday (same as my father’s), and thank you for your art. I recently purchased some postcards and will be hard pressed to part with them, but will be sure to send them to women who will be uplifted by your work.
Weclome Katherine. Thanks so much for buying my postcards and for your good words. I love the idea of you sending the postcards to your friends. 🙂
Maria, your drawing reminded me that yesterday, I took your three drawings I have in my kitchen down to be sparkled up (cleaning the glass picture frame on each) and I again, found the drawings delightful, whimsical and loved them all over again.
I also loved the hair on your last wall quilt lady…how did you apply it and have it look so natural and graceful.
Sandy Proudfoot.
It’s been a while since I did this kind of drawing Sandy. But I do enjoy it. And for the hair, I just hand sewed it on. I like working with materials that have personality. Sewing this yarn down is easy, you can’t see the thread because of all the colors and textures in it.
