Both Liz my shearer and Janet Hamilton, two women who have spent a lot of their lives with animals agree that sheep smile.
As with people a smile doesn’t happen just with the mouth, but with their whole face. I took this picture of Constance’s little smile after a dinner of grain and hay.

I’d have to agree Laurie. 🙂 And she is tagged and yes it identifies her. She came from our shearer in Vermont so she is registered there but then was transferred to me at the farm.
