After working on my Corona Kimono this morning, I did some work on my Barn Owl quilt.
Between getting to know the woods behind the farm in a new way and the Screech Owl who landed outside my studio, I feel like all of that is going into the quilt.

This is special. I get the fragrance of leaves and dirt and grass with hints of cinnamon. The owl is a sweet companion watching from the safety of the shadows. Exciting! I better get that darn sewing machine out of the box and get down to my own business of creation.
I love that it’s evoking smell for you Donna. I was hoping for that woodland feel. And yes, get out that sewing machine! 🙂
This is going to be (already is) a beautiful work of art…very special!
Thanks Fran.
