The night before last I had one disturbing nightmare after another. The low feeling my dreams left me with stuck with me for most of the day.
Last night, as I was falling asleep, I repeated the words “I am worthy” to myself, and pictured writing them down.
I only remembered one dream when I woke. In it, there were three nuns and me. I was giving each of them one of my potholders with their name written on the back in black marker.
One nun had taken a vow of silence, but when I gave her the potholder, she pointed to her eye, touching the round gold frame of her glasses. Even though she didn’t speak, I knew her gesture meant, “Look inside yourself“.
I woke up feeling as if I had received a precious gift, full of energy and looking forward to the day.
What, indeed, a beautiful gift of that dream. It touched me too…and thus the gift goes on in your sharing it. Just beautiful.
