Singing To The Moon

The first drawing I did on our trip in the little book that Kitty gave me, was so dark and dreary, I wanted to rip it out.

But I didn’t want to also rip out the drawing on the other side of the page.  I thought of gluing the pages together so I wouldn’t have to look at it, but of course, I didn’t have glue.

Then I found a little sewing kit with thread and a needle and thought to sew the pages together, but before I got to it,  I lost the kit.

I ended up erasing most of the drawing. I rarely use an eraser, but I had one with me.  The soft paper turned to fuzz that I had to keep cleaning from the eraser.

I think the whole thing must have been cathartic because after that I made the drawing above which reflects how I was feeling after a day of resting.
