My Mystery Snail “Blue” was dancing this morning. I don’t really know what he was doing, but it was pretty spectacular to watch.
I thought so anyway.
The small white dots on his shell and the rocks around him are nerite snail eggs. They only hatch in saltwater so they won’t hatch in the tank.
Do I see eyes starting at about 42 seconds to 46?
Yes, Susan, Mystery snails do have eyes and I think that’s what you’re seeing.
Never thought I’d be describing a snail as “beautiful”!

It looks almost like he is tethered to something thread-like. Unless that’s some kind of excretion? Or – maybe he’s trying to emulate your zoom belly-dancing classes….. LOL
He’s just trailing a bit of the moss that grows on the tree Amy. They do make these kinds of movements from time to time. Or like you say, maybe bellydancing! 🙂
