If it wasn’t for her back foot being slightly raised off the ground, Susie would appear immobile, while Fate seems to be in the process of being blown by a stiff wind right out the side of the frame. Although, one second after this photo was taken, I’m sure she had zooooomed right through! I love how she is laser-focused on the photographer, her steadying influence.
Ha! I wish I had thought to write that Amy. It’s a perfect description of them both. Suzy really is a grounded sheep. And there are times where Fate will seemingly purposely not look at the camera. I can’t blame her for that. I can be the same way. But when she does, it is with that “laser-focus”.
