Planting Seeds

The cats on the backporch with bags of soil for Jon’s raised bed garden.

This weekend Jon and I will fill up his raised bed garden with the soil I bought for him. I’ll also set up the little plastic portable greenhouse that he got me.

I bought 100 peat pots to start seeds in so that should fill up the greenhouse and keep us busy for a while.

  1. I love gardening, have fun planting your seeds and watching them sprout. I’m a farmers child and spring planting still amazes me after all these years. It is a wonder how something so small can grow into a magnificent plant and produce an abundance of food! Happy planting!

    1. It sounds to me like you’ve kept the child part of yourself that is still able to see wonder in the world Josie. I too find that those tiny seeds can spring into a delicate little seedling and grow into big beautiful flowers or fruit and vegetables.
