The Great Blue Heron Returns To Bedlam Farm

The Great Blue Heron flew in from the south, circled back right over my head, and landed in the marsh.

It’s the first I’ve seen of him this year.  If he comes back, it makes me think the marsh is healthy, full of frogs and fish to eat.

  1. They are such regal birds. I love watching them fly into the marsh at our little nature center! How wonderful to have them so close to your home!

  2. I have Jon’s picture of this heron, from his batch of 50 prints. I look at it every day in my office, and love it. This is a great shot!
