I finished tacking my Koi Quilt today. I took this picture of the back of it and brought it in the house to take a picture of it on the bed in the guest room. But by the time I got to it, the sun was going down and it was too dark. So I’ll take a picture of it tomorrow.
I haven’t had to piece together a quit back in a while because I’ve had big pieces of fabric to use. But none of the big pieces I had worked as a good backing for Koi. I wanted something lighter for the back and the blues I think worked in picking up the patchwork quilt top that I used in the front of the quilt.
It’s always fun piecing a quilt backing. A lot less pressure than the front.
