Robin’s Smile

Robin’s sweet smile

I only got to my studio today to finish sewing my Mystical Cat potholders.  The rest of my day was spent doing bookkeeping. I tend to put my bookkeeping off but was only behind a couple of months this time. I also got my Koi quilt in the mail to Sue Silverstein and sent off some Robin Magnets.

This week I’m looking forward to starting something new.  I want to make some more potholders, but I’m also looking forward to starting something else maybe a quilt or fabric painting.

I’m reading Humboldt’s Gift by Saul Bellows in it he writes…”When you get out of the sensible world, you might feel parts of the soul awakening that never had been awake before.”

That’s what I’d like to do to create something new.

  1. I don’t know why, but Robin cracks me up! He changes and matures so much with every portrait. He seems to know exactly where he belongs at all times. He owns his space! Love his eyes and smile in this picture! 🙂

  2. I think he knows he’s an internet celebrity and brings joy to the masses. And he’s content with that!
