It’s been so warm and the chicks feathers have grown in that I unplugged the heat lamps for the past few days. But today it was so cold I turned them on again.
It feels like the first days of spring with temperatures dropping into the forties and a damp rain falling most of the day.
But Kitty and Anne were warm and dry inside the barn. I gave them a piece of banana and some sunflower seeds, the first they’ve ever tasted, and they were all gone by the end of the day. I guess they liked them.
