Last week at The Mansion, I showed some of the women who live there how to draw chicks. They used pencil to make the preliminary drawing then went over it and colored them in with markers.
I thought it would be nice to make a banner with the drawings which were done on linen. Then Julie, the Activities Director, suggested it would make a nice “Summer” Banner.
So this afternoon I added the word Summer to the drawings that Clara, Peggy, Claudia, Julie, and Peg made. I sewed it all onto a ribbon and tomorrow I’ll drop it off at The Mansion.
