Well, I didn’t get as much done on my Summer Quilt as I had hoped. Understanding and writing the piece on Lena’s Quilt took up a good chunk of the afternoon.
But I did sew the final pieces on the quilt this morning and then found the right combination of fabric for the backing. I hope to get to that tomorrow, although I also have some potholders to put up for sale in my Etsy Shop.
And tomorrow and It’s Jon Katz Day at The Mansion.
We got word of this from the staff in December, when The Mansion was still in lockdown. This special day is to acknowledge “the generous gift of time and devotion to the residents and staff at The Mansion….to lighten many burdens and connect us to a family of the heart.”
It’s a celebration of all of you in the Army Of Good too. I’m looking forward to that and will be sure to take some pictures.
Amazingly beautiful quilt, Maria! I love studying all the patterns, colors and watching how you fit them all together. 🙂
And I keep recieving more fabric from you to work with Fran. Thank you again and again.
Amazingly beautiful quilt, Maria! I love watching your progress choosing different patterns and colors. 🙂
