I’ve been taking pictures of the back porch since we moved to the farm nine years ago. It has changed in subtle ways since then, but never as drastic as it changed yesterday when the house was painted blue.
The first time I really noticed the farmhouse was years before we bought it. Back then I did a drawing of it which I made into a potholder, complete with Florence’s clothesline. White with green shutters, it always had the feeling of a quaint cottage to me, even with its Greek Revival influence.
But now that it’s painted blue, I find it even more charming.
…you will always have blue skies smilin’ on your porch ☺️
Love the quilt…thanks once again❣️ Arrived Wednesday…wow.
