I finished my second Gelli Print Pillow today. The first one sold quickly. This one is called Rick Rack, because I used some fabric from a vintage apron that has rick rack on it.
This pillow, like the last is made with original monoprints that my friend Emily made a few weeks ago when we did some gelli printing in my studio. I got all the prints that we made on fabric (the ones I used on this pillow are printed on linen) and Emily got the ones on paper.
Each of those printed squares are four individual original prints. I combined them with the florals and framed them with solid colors hoping they would all work together without getting lost.
My Rick Rack Gelli Print Pillow is 16″ x16″ and it’s $90 + shipping. It’s sold
You can buy it here.
As I wrote about earlier, because shipping costs have gone up so drastically in some places around the county. I used to be able to just charge one rate of shipping for my pillows, but I can’t do that anymore. Prices for shipping range from $16 to over $50 for a package the size and weight of my pillows depending on where it’s going. I’m not adding any additional handling charges onto the price of shipping. And you’ll be able to see the price of shipping before you buy the pillow.
I still have one more Gelli Print Pillow to make. I hope to get that one finished tomorrow.
