Very interesting shot/back story. Is Brown Hen protecting Minnie? Or wanting to eat the spider? Don’t know if chickens eat spiders. Would be a lovely cover for a children’s book.
I don’t think she’s protecting Flo, I think the hens just like to go up on the chair sometimes. Maybe it’s their roosting instinct. And the cats, Minnie and Flo don’t mind them.
Amazing and lovely how well Brown Hen and White Hen co-exist so peacefully with Flo and Minnie! 🙂 I’m sure Kitty and Anne will follow suit.
